Dr. Smith has always embraced the challenge of making people see the world in different ways.  A proud graduate of Howard University, Dr. Smith also earned his Ph.D. in Personality Psychology from the University of Michigan, where he studied the impact of personality on romantic relationships and dating behavior/preferences.  He is a Certified Tier II Holistic Life, Career, and Executive Coach, and Advanced Certified Team Coach, and he is also both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified. Dr. Smith has employed his deep understanding of the human mind to craft fiction, poetry, and social media that gift readers with new insights into themselves and the world around them.  His ability to positively impact lives through words is strengthened by more than 26+ years of experience in the field of Human Resources, as well as his ongoing work as a Professor, HR Consultant, and Life/Executive Coach. The goal of his words isn't to change minds but to get people to acknowledge other possibilities, to re-examine themselves, and to embrace 'maybe' and "what if..."  As is the case with all his works, he communicates with the purpose of showing people a world where change is always possible while using a style that makes you feel like you're hearing from your most trusted confidant.  His firm belief is that communication leads to understanding which can finally lead to change…
